Govt of India introduced One Nation One Number plan and we also call this feature as MNP(Mobile number portability). As per the MNP concept mobile consumers can keep their mobile numbers same when they switch across the states in India. No need to change the mobile number when we change state.
As per existing policy changing the network providers without changing number was allowed only with in same state or same circles. According to new plan this is possible. This plan implementation is recommended by TRAI and approved by department of telecommunications.
