Karnataka govt education department has reduced the age limit for children who appearing for first standard. This new rule applicable to all the schools across the Karnataka. As per new rule kid can eligible for first standard if the kid age suppose to be 5 Year and 5 months to 7 Years. So minimum age is 5 year 5 months.
Earlier this was 5 year and 10 months and below this age was not allowed to enter. This is just to avoid kids joined early age in nursery classes. This is great and move from the government.
